KJo says Riddhima apologised to Shalini after spilling wine but the scene was cut

One of the major highlights from the Netflix show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives featured Shalini Passi and Riddhima Kapoor stuck in an awkward moment. Filmmaker Karan Johar now issued a clarification on the same.
In a new video shared on Netflix’s official YouTube channel, KJo, as he is popularly called, is seen explaining how Riddhima aplogised to Shalini after ‘accidentally’ spilling a glass of wine on her dress during their dinner in Mauritius. The scene later becomes a defining point of Riddhima and Shalini’s equation in the show. Karan also revealed that the apology bit was edited from the final print of the show due to technical reasons.
Notably, the scene led to a big controversy between the two Delhi divas, and also raised many eyebrows. Karan, in the new video, shared that Riddhima realised the damage that had happened and apologised to Shalini later but since the shooting took place at night, the team faced visibility problems while trying to include it in the show.
During the same virtual chat in the video, Shalini recounted the incident and revealed that she would never forget the way she was ‘made to feel’ that time. She added that while she continues to meet Riddhima at social events, she will still take her time to come to terms with it. Shalini said, “The apology came on day 2 or day 3. I’m okay, I honestly don’t care. Yeah, it’s all in the past and I don’t want to see re-runs. I know what happened. I know how I was made to feel.”
Shalini Passi, who’s an art collector, emerged as one of the most interesting characters in the latest season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. She seemed confident about her choices and remained unaffected by others commenting on her lifestyle. The show is currently streaming on Netflix.
